Recruitment and Selection Process of Jamuna Bank Limited
Abstract
The recruitment and selection process has undergone significant transformations in recent years due to advancements in technology and changes in the job market. Within the banking industry of Bangladesh, having a procedure for recruiting and selection that is both efficient and successful is essential. The process helps to identify and hire the best candidates for the available positions, ensuring that the bank has the necessary human capital to meet its goals and objectives. The selection process also helps to identify individuals who possess the required skills, knowledge, and attitudes to perform their jobs effectively, and can contribute to the long-term success of the bank.
JAMUNA Bank Limited (JBL) is one of the private banks in Bangladesh and a large number of employees around 3000 are working in this bank. Human capital at JAMUNA Bank Limited refers to the company's workers and other individuals, as well as their health and well-being, their years of experience, their creative potential, and their drive to put in a lot of effort. The most valuable asset that JAMUNA Bank Limited (JBL) has is its "Human Resources." JBL considers its workforce, which it refers to as its "Human Capital," to be its key resource for financial support. The main purpose of preparing this report is to study on recruitment and selection process of Jamuna Bank Limited.
In order to put up the study, I drew on a variety of primary and secondary sources while collecting the necessary data and information. Based on the steps of recruitment and selection process; JBL's current recruitment and selection process will be analyzed which were beneficial to both HR department and workforce in the banking industry of Bangladesh. According to the analysis of the study, some suggestions have been provided for the HR department of JBL which are intended to aid in the comprehension of the existing obstacles they are confronted with in the advancement of their organization within the area of recruitment and selection process for finding potential candidates.
