Strategic HR Planning: A Strategic Determinant for Improved Performance
Abstract
Internship program is mandatory for the students at UNITED INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY under the curriculum of Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a view to familiarizing them with the corporate world. As a BBA student I got the opportunity to conduct my internship in the Human Resource department of Genuine Technology and Research Ltd.
Genuine Technology and Research Ltd features a proven diary of delivering sophisticated technology solutions on time, with smart competent development teams. GTR has created arrangements in most broad-based markets for fabricating, trade administrations, and dispersion. It was established in the year 2005 and within few years it created compliance program frameworks for developing markets. For over a long time, it has conveyed a wide cluster of CCTVs, Get to Control, Participation & Finance framework, Apparels CAD/CAM arrangements for Corporate Clients.
GTR's Human Resources department is one of the most critical supporting elements that work on optimizing the effectiveness of workers and adequately improving and compensating them. GTR HR is advanced with the successes of recruiting process equity and openness, equitable job prospects, consistent workforce acquisition policy, sustainable incentive benefits and technology-driven work climate.
The GTR HR department has its own structured method to find the best candidate at the right place at the right time. But the most important learning was implementing Strategic Human Resource Planning and how the company is doing well through this method. Evaluating this factor very closely helped GTR in filling the right resources at the right time with the right skill set. Their comprehensive Strategic HR Plan ensures that the business can deliver on strategy and the ability to monitor progress towards the organization’s goals.
During my internship time, I was given the task of assisting HR managers in hiring and assessing individual roles. I learned how to handle employee files, connect with the applicants, administer the written examination, assess the CVs and applicants, and print the necessary papers. Learning from the leadership and the community has made good behaviors more encouraging.
The objective of the report is to gather knowledge and present the possible ways of strategic HR planning to improve business performance to make the unit and their regulations more viable. Also, I provided some recommendations to go on further.
