The main intention of this paper is to investigate student satisfaction in respect of private universities in Bangladesh. To attain this objective, the study accumulated 167 samples from five renowned private universities located in Dhaka cosmopolitan city. Convenient sampling method was used to accumulate the data and respondents of this study were existing undergraduate students. To test the hypothesis, multiple regression technique has been conducted. Moreover, t-test, ANOVA and Pearson correlation have been performed. The study reveals that the service quality and image of the institution have statistically significant influence on student satisfaction. The outcomes of the study would bring meaningful benefits to both practitioners and academics, particularly in connection with student satisfaction. A rare explored variable ‘student quality’ is incorporated in this study to verify its influence on student satisfaction, which is contributing the originality of the research.en_US
