dc.description.abstractThis study examines an analysis of the human resource management policies of two famous commercial banks in Bangladesh. The first one is the Dutch Bangla Bank Limited (DBBL) and the second is United Commercial Bank Limited UCB/ UCBL). It proposes recommendations to improve these two commercial banks so that the banks can improve their human resources policy. Furthermore, the study evaluates and compares existing human resource management activities, such as hiring and selecting employees, job analysis planning methods, performance assessment, compensation and benefits, training and education programs. In this study, a survey questionnaire was prepared that contain 16 questions on five functions of human resource management policies and information was collected on these two banks. Human resources policies are described in the analysis section and the comparison of these human resources policies is presented in the results section of this report. The results focused on significant situations that are essential for employees and for the growth and development of the organization. Therefore, the recommendation will support the correct participation of the human resources management system in the banking sector of Bangladesh.en_US
