An Analysis on the Activities of Human Resource Management Department of Aarong
Abstract
This report is an analysis of the activities conducted by Aarong, Human Resource department. Aarong is a huge organization operating with thousands of employees where Aarong HR department operates as a strong force to manage those thousands of human resources with their tough grind. The first part of this report includes the small introduction to the report, objective, methodology, scope, and limitation of the report. The second part describes the organization, their history, mission, and vision statement. It also provides a brief description of Ayesha Abed Foundation, Aarong’s product line, awards owned by Aarong, Aarong’s logo etc. This part of the report gives the reader background knowledge about Aarong’s identity, their journey and enormous endeavor to establish themselves as Bangladesh’s number one lifestyle retail chain. The third part explains my regular activities as a part of Aarong recruitment and selection team. The fifth part of the report describes the HR department’s overall activities. The HR department has performance appraisal team, grievance and separation team, compensation management team and Human Resource Information System team. Each team has their own assigned work. Those work are described properly in this part. The recruitment and selection process for Aarong, A.A.F., and outlet is also explained with the process chart. This part also discusses performance appraisal and some other activities that are conducted in the HR department. The fifth part discusses some critical observations, which is gathered during the internship period. Then some recommendations are given based upon the critical observations. The sixth part is the last part where the conclusion of the report is provided. Then the references for all the information and appendix are also provided.
