    Abstract
    Midland Bank Limited, also known as MDB falls under the private sectors of the commercial bank of Bangladesh. Besides providing all kinds of generic banking services to its customers like other commercial banks, it stands out for its unique and special package of various range of services, the clients can avail from. This study portrays a documentation of the opportunity of my practical experience at Midland Bank Limited that lasted over three months. Giving a picturesque description on SME Financing, my report delineates the scenario of the SME activities of the respective bank and provide comparative analysis on the SME loan with a local bank as well. Emphasis is also given on the process of Midland Bank Limited choosing both the clients and enterprises in the lieu of minimizing if not eliminating risks. Part A of this report is based on my internship experience along with the organization profile. Chapter one captured company overview, historic background of organization and company slogan including company’s mission, vision and with Dr. Michael Porter’s five forces model and SWOT analysis. Chapter two focuses on the task and responsibilities vested upon me and what this three months long experience taught me, while Chapter three refers some recommendations and observation on Midland Bank Limited. On the contrary, Part B covers the entire Research project being divided in four chapters. Chapter four comprehends the overall research method, having background of the study that includes sources of data, limitations, and overall process. While some theoretical background along with references have been explained in Chapter five, summary of the findings including the analysis of the major factors have been covered in Chapter six. Finally, Chapter seven is based on the recommendation of some factors for MDB which has been closed with the conclusion.
