Green Computing: Sustainable IT Practices for a Greener Future
Abstract
Green computing is all about green technology, where we can use technology in a sustainable way. It encompasses practices like energy management, utilizing recyclable materials, virtualization, and particular employee procedures and habits. In light of growing worldwide energy demands and environmental concerns, this abstract explores the evolution and critical significance of green computing. Day by day our toxic trait to technology is increasing and environment become polluted every way it’s possible. To minimize this pollution green, it or green computing can be the best option for tech users. The environment suffers as a result of the extensive use of computers and associated IT products. Because its components are non-biodegradable, personal computers have a detrimental effect on the environment. Inadequate disposal techniques for computers and their components as well as defects in manufacturing procedures can lead to environmental contamination. Computer manufacturing involves the use of toxic materials, which can have negative environmental implications when properly disposed of. Therefore, we must increase our knowledge of this issue to safeguard our environment and lessen the negative effects of computers. To improve sustainable practices in the technology sector and make sure that technical breakthroughs favorably impact global environmental conservation efforts, this report finishes by emphasizing the importance of ongoing research and industry collaboration.
