    Abstract
When "Homebound" packagers and shippers established "DHL Worldwide Express" as a division in 1991, it marked one of the first steps in Bangladesh's evolution into a global logistics hub. Since then, DHL has expanded its operations to support regional businesses in going global, ensuring the swift delivery of a wide range of goods and services to meet local business needs. In 1994, the airport saw the establishment of the first Air Side Express Handling Unit. DHL was the first company to offer diverse, speedy delivery options and introduce frontline customer care into the workplace. It also pioneered the door-to-door import service in response to the growing demands of the RMG sector. To maintain its status as the world's leading international air express network, DHL continues to grow and improve its network of offices, hubs, and services, delivering exceptional customer service through its skilled and dedicated team. This study examines the HR audit and Appreciation Week procedures at DHL Express Bangladesh, a leading logistics company. The primary objectives of this academic internship report are to fulfill the requirements for the BBA degree and to gain a comprehensive understanding of HR audit practices and employee recognition strategies within the organization. The secondary objectives include analyzing how HR audits contribute to compliance, efficiency, and overall organizational effectiveness, as well as evaluating the impact of Appreciation Week on employee morale, engagement, and performance. Through this report, I aim to provide insights into the best practices of HR audits and employee appreciation initiatives and recommend strategies for enhancing their effectiveness at DHL Express Bangladesh. During my internship in the HR department at DHL Express Bangladesh, I gained valuable insights into HR audits and employee engagement, particularly through organizing Appreciation Week. The experience challenged me to adapt to a corporate environment, strengthening my resilience and organizational skills. Managing key HR activities not only deepened my understanding of compliance and engagement but also equipped me with practical skills that will benefit my future career.
