Recruitment and Selection Process of Bengal Group of Industries.
Abstract
I have completed the internship report to fulfill the requirements for my Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA). It is based on my hands-on experience gained while interning at Bengal Group of Industries' Human Resources Department. The Bengal Group of Industries' "overall recruitment and selection process" is the subject of my investigation. This report, which is divided into six chapters, explains the business of Bengal Group of Industries, the hiring and selection procedure, and my own internship experience.
Chapter one focuses on introducing Human Resource Management (HRM) and the Bengal Group of Industries' hiring, screening, and placement procedures.
Chapter Two outlines the study's objectives, including both the primary and secondary objectives. The primary objective is completing the academic internship report required for the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. The application of academic knowledge in a practical HR environment is the main focus of this part. Secondary objectives include analyzing Bengal Group of Industries' recruitment processes, understanding the key phases of their hiring and selection procedure, identifying problems with these procedures, and offering suggestions for improvement.
Chapter three covers methodology, including the kinds of data, sample strategies, data gathering procedures, and constraints that were faced during the research process.
In chapter four, I have explained Bengal Group of Industries (BGI) organizational background and industry viewpoint, including information on its history, key values, business divisions, and organizational structure.
In Chapter Five I have explained the findings and the analysis of the recruitment and selection process of the Bengal Group of Industries, highlighting particular HR duties, recruiting procedures, and the organization’s selection process.
Finally, concluded with suggestions in chapter six. This internship gave me valuable and vast learning opportunities in HRM. The hiring procedures will especially help with future professional diversion. This study provides useful recommendations and insightful examination that will improve the human resources strategies of the Bengal Group of Industries.
