AHKC Chartered Accountants Firms works personally with many consulting firms, both international & national, to serve clients in Bangladesh. In fact, AHKC Chartered Accountants was ranked the 8th audit firm in the country for auditing banks and financial institutions by the Central Bank Bangladesh (Bangladesh Bank) back in November 2017.
During my twelve-week internship at the firm, I worked in the Cash Incentive Audit Department. My actual job was to check substitute Cash Assistance files and prepare related working papers. The key focus of this study is on what I learned while working here, through both my training & personal experiences.
This report has several sections. First up is the introduction, which includes the objectives & some challenges I faced during this study. Chapter two offers an overview of “AHKC”, highlighting the firm’s strategies, services, & activities. Moving on to chapter three, it covers Data Collection & Processing. I gathered info in two ways—one from primary sources and another from secondary sources. This chapter explains how I collected & presented the data.
In section five, I discuss some troubles I noticed regarding audit appointments at “AHKC”. I've also shared a few recommendations to attempt these issues and wrapped things up with an overall conclusion.
