KothaGPT: The Accessible ChatGPT for Bengali Users

Abstract

This report covers the making of a natural language processing system presented as a web application. It deals with a Bengali user who provides a Bengali input (a question) in the form of speech which is translated by the application to English, and fed into ChatGPT. In return, the response collected from ChatGPT is then translated to Bengali in text and speech to be visible to the Bengali user. In the first chapter, Introduction, it discusses the problem we are trying to solve with application, the methodologies used and the objective of the study. In the second chapter, Literature Review, I explain and cite the used research papers, journals and articles used as reference to build my project report. In the most important chapter, Findings and Implementation, It elaborately discussed the steps, workings and code produced to create the functional application. Afterwards, I move on to provide an overall evaluation of the application in use, prove its validation, mention its constraints and provide recommendations for future self to work on. Lastly, I end the report with a conclusion and overview of this complex project work.
