Abstract
Talent Acquisition is an essential part for any effective & profitable business. Any successful business must invest in talent acquisition. In today’s business world, innovative recruitment practice is increasingly being adopted by organizations in order to find candidates with appropriate competencies & skill sets for their company. It involves finding, recruiting, and employing capable people to take on important positions inside an organization. In this procedure, the job requirements are assessed, candidates are found, they are screened, and job offers are negotiated. A diverse, competent, and engaged staff should be prioritized in talent acquisition efforts, which should be adapted to the specific needs of the company. Talent recruiting is becoming an increasingly important area of focus and as a result organizations should place a greater emphasize on this aspect of their talent acquisition strategy. In this report, we explored this topic by addressing approaches & tactics of talent acquisition with the concept of talent management & HR system.
This internship report is concentrated on ARLA Foods Bangladesh Limited for the purpose of conducting research on the company. This report is focused on the skills being learned and experiences being encountered throughout the internship. A combination of primary & secondary source of data has been used to compile this study. Arla foods Bangladesh’s human resource policy & talent management strategies to attract & retain top talent are outlined in this paper. At first, a comprehensive background of Arla Foods Bangladesh has been presented. Here, the company’s brief significant history both global & local, their emergence has been given. The report has outlined the company’s management style, goals, and vision, mission, objective & core values. Their milestones, offering products & overview of their human resource department is also been presented. Then in the finding part, a descriptive overview of their talent acquisition system has been portrayed. Here, the job role, job description, recruitment process such as assessment, interview, final selection, onboarding, after on boarding activities, recruitment details everything has been described. A section on Covid pandemic affects has also been visualized. The work role and actions adopted are being in focus here. And lastly before concluding, a recommendation part where all the feedbacks and improvements are provided. To emphasize the relationship between HR function and talent acquisition, the internship report is being accompanying the portrayal of the overall strategies of Arla Foods Bangladesh limited.
