Overall Human Resource Management Practices of BDBL
Abstract
To meet the requirement of the guidelines as to comprehend the application of the theoretical knowledge in the practical fields this internship report on “Overall Human Resource Management Practices of Bangladesh Development Bank Limited (BDBL)” has been conducted. BDBL is a state-owned commercial bank in Bangladesh and it is working efficiently in the banking industry of Bangladesh. Basically, the main focus of the report is to analyze the HRM Practices of BDBL and to identify how HRM activities doing properly and how to be maintained and try to analysis the strengths and weaknesses and the problems with most probably solutions in human resource management department. This report also focused during COVID 19 HRM activities and try to find out that because of COVID 19, is it the beginning of revolution in our country? This report is prepared on the basis of my internship experience in Bangladesh Development Bank Limited (BDBL)”. So in this report I tried to incorporate my observations regarding these and tried to be give my point of view in HRM practices in Bangladesh Development Bank Ltd. During my time as an intern at a reputable bank such as BDBL, I did all in my power to get familiar with HRM practices in the span of approximately two months. I made use of both primary and secondary sources of information while compiling the report. A genuine report may be prepared in a short amount of time during the course of 39 working days. The research has a number of shortcomings due to its limitations. Finding out all there is to know about the Bank's HRM Practices may be a very tough and time-consuming process. The report is divided down into nine individual chapters in its entirety. Each chapter of this report includes relevant information on the report. Here, I try to show the history and background of Bangladesh Development Bank Limited and its corporate culture and try to gather and analysis most of the human resource management activities of overall banking system.
