Internship report on “A Brief Discussion About Islamic Banking Industry and On The Development and General Banking Activities of Global Islami Bank”

Abstract

This internship report is pre-requisite for the students of BBA program after the completion of the internship program. Under the supervision of the assigned supervisor the report has been completed according to the guideline given by the supervisor. The objective of writing the report is to gain in-depth knowledge about the topic on which the report is prepared. In this era of modern economy banking industry is an irreplaceable industry. With a target of banking with fair and justice Islamic banking is contributing to this industry in large scale. In the industry of Islamic banking the Global Islami bank is expanding and developing very fast. In the past 9 years the bank has already shown a significant growth in the industry of banking. The data that are included in this report are collected from both primary and secondary source. The primary data is collected during the internship program by direct inquiries, observation and documents. The secondary data is collected from websites and annual reports. The only limitation while collecting data was the limited access to the information for the interns in Global Islami Bank.
