General Banking and CSR Activities of Shahjalal Islamic Bank Limited
Abstract
This report is based on the Shahjalal Islamic Bank Limited's "General Banking and CSR Activities." It is the outcome of a three-month internship at Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited, Eskaton Branch, as mandated by faculty and supervisor S.M. Asif-Ur-Rahman, Assistant Professor of United International University's BBA Department. Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd's ordinary banking operations and CSR initiatives are being documented is the purpose for the creation of this report. Here, I have attempted to demonstrate how they oversee regular banking operations as well as CSR initiatives. Besides that, I've shown the positive effect these practices have had on the bank. Account opening, security instrument dealing, customer service and other bank administrations are all part of general banking. This includes managing currency, money, clearing charges, and other fees. But financial institutions like banks have a lot to gain from corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives. In order to provide an excellent banking service, it is necessary to integrate all of the various monetary operations.
Five chapters comprise this report. The report's introduction is discussed in the first chapter. This chapter discusses the report's origins, background, literature review, mission statement, scope and limitations, methodology, and a glossary of abbreviations and technical terminology. The second chapter is entirely dedicated to the report's findings and analysis, in which I detail "General Banking Activities and CSR Activities" of "Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited." The third chapter details my internship experience in the Eskaton branch of "Shahjalal Islami Bank." The fourth chapter discusses my recommendation as an intern. And the last chapter is the fifth. Finally, I have included an appendix and references in the annex section.
