Retail banking of Dutch Bangla Bank Limited
Abstract
This report represents the working experience of an intern on retail banking division of Dutch
Bangla Bank Ltd. It is one of the leading second generation commercial private banks in
Bangladesh. As a mandatory requirement of graduation program, the internship has been
completed in this organization. The main objective of that program is to gather knowledge and
experiences of the banking sectors and understand the implementation of theoretical knowledge
in real life. Throughout the whole program, different experiences have been gathered by working
in several departments of DBBL. This internship report discloses the background, history of the
organization, product, and services provided by the bank and recommendation given based on
the experiences gathered. In this report, different types of strategies are discussed that the bank
used to promote their products and services and for the assessment of their employees. The
mission, vision, and management of DBBL has also discussed briefly in this report. But the main
focus of this report is retail banking. Different types of retail products and their basic features are
discussed elaborately in this report. Based on the findings and analysis comparisons with other
banking sectors have also been made. The achievement of the ultimate goal of the organization depends on the customer satisfaction. So the bank always gives their best effort to provide quality services to the customer
