    Abstract
    Over the last few years, corporations have been engrossed in imparting their environmental practices with the shareholders, thereby, ownership structure is a key factor to explore whether it encourages corporate environmental reporting policy or not. This research paper’s goal is to inspect the effect of ownership structures, namely-public ownership, director ownership, foreign ownership and industrial ownership on firms environmental reporting in Food & Allied listed corporations in Bangladesh. This research paper has sampled preceding five years data of 11 listed firms in DSE. Multiple regression analysis has been used to scrutinize if there is any affiliation between environmental reporting and various ownership structures. The findings of the study depict that there is significantly positive relation between foreign ownership and industrial ownership with environmental reporting, whilst, there is no statistical significance between environmental reporting and general shareholdings and director shareholdings. The study findings will not only benefit the local investors but also foreign investors in their decision-making process. Aside from that it will also provide insights both corporate administrators and regulatory authority to comprehend the diverse investors effects on environmental reporting.
