Internship Report on Analyzing Employee Satisfaction Based on Current Performance Evaluation System of Consumer Knitex Ltd.
Abstract
Textile and garments sector play an important role in the economy of Bangladesh. There are 4621 garment factories in Bangladesh which contributes huge to the economic development of our country. One of the major sources of foreign exchanging earnings is coming from the export of RMG & textile industry. It’s a major contributor of GDP in our country.
The study focuses on the overall activities of Compagnie Mauricienne de Textile Ltee (CMT) Bangladesh and the core purpose of this report is about the analysis of employee satisfaction based on current performance evaluation system of employees in CKL-CMT(Bangladesh). This is necessary to do the practical task in internship period. For this reason, practical area of responsibilities of the employees and interacted with them to capture their views and relationship with the organization are described here.
This report deals with five chapters. The 1st chapter deals with the introduction of the report. There is a description about the background of the study, rational of the study, scope of the report, objective of report which is including general objective and specific objective, the methodology of the study and the limitation of the study. Then the 2nd chapter that including the literature review of performance evaluation and employee job satisfaction. The 3rd chapter is including the company overview and HR activities of CMT Bangladesh (CKL). There is the big description of this company such as company’s mission, vision, goal, objective, the SWOT analysis, job responsibilities, experience as an intern, operational activities and department of the organization, corporate culture of CMT-BD, importance of HR department, human resource planning of CMT-BD, recruitment and selection process in CMT-BD, salary management and compensation, discussion about the performance appraisal system and leave management. The 4th chapter deals with the analysis and findings of employee satisfaction and current performance evaluation system of employees in CMT-BD (CKL). The last chapter include the recommendations and conclusion part.
