Enhancing Employee Motivation through Performance Evaluation
Abstract
The case study named “Enhancing Employee Motivation through Performance Evaluation” is based upon the multiple chapters that captures the current scenario of North Brook Hall Road Branch of United Commercial Bank Ltd. here there are four chapters and they are: introduction and background, About UCBL, Data Findings and Analysis and Conclusion and lessons learned and future career.
On the first chapter, there is an elaborate explanation of all the terms and analogies related to HR, Performance evaluations, Appraisals and Literature review of the case study. I have given elaborations of Management by Objectives (MBO), 360-Degree Feedback, Assessment Centre Method, Behaviorally Anchored Rating Scale (BARS) and Psychological appraisals. I have also incorporated all the information from various journal articles from both Emerald and Wiley in the literature review. I have also mentioned the data collection method, methodology and the primary and secondary research of the case study in the first chapter
On the second chapter, I have given various information regarding UCBL from company profile, vision, mission, values, objectives, organogram of both the company and the branch of UCBL.
On the third chapter I have mentioned the thematic analysis of the case study along with the details of the semi structured interview of my supervisor, Mr. Mr. Anisur Rahman (SVP & Head of Branch), North Brook Hall Road Branch, United Commercial Bank limited. I have also given the data analysis and findings of the case study.
In the fourth chapter, I have given my experience of the internship and what I have learned form the three months of internship and about my future plan for my career. And lastly, I have provided the conclusion of the study.
