Abstract
Completion of BBA program requires an internship report and this report was originated for this reason. The internship report titled “Analysis of investment and liquidity affairs of companies of Bangladesh- A Study on Phoenix Finance & Investments Limited.” was required by the Supervisor Rana Mazumder, Assistant Professor- AIS, School of Business & Economics, United International University. The objective of this report is to study & analyze the investment and liquidity affairs of company of Bangladesh.
Being one of the leading NBFIs (Non-Banking Financial Institutes) Phoenix Finance & Investments Ltd. has been operating its financial activities very cordially according to the guidelines of Bangladesh Bank. It has been articulating its operational outline so that it can keep its profit building as well as the customer satisfaction and deposit safety. PFIL is offering different deposit schemes with some unique and special schemes for Senior Citizens (Aged over 60) & Minors (Aged bellow 18) with different advantageous options and higher returns and benefits.
This is an orientation report that contains the real life working experience of various tasks in Phoenix Finance & Investments Limited, Dilkusha Corporate Branch. This report is mainly divided into six (06) chapters. The first section of this study is the introduction part that mainly describes about the objectives, methodology, scope and limitations of this study. To properly understand this organization on which the report is prepared on, the second chapter of the study presents some information about profile of Phoenix Finance & Investments Limited. The third chapter is about the NBFI industry overview. The fourth Chapter is about literature review which is prepared on the information regarding the report. The fifth chapter carries different types of analysis and findings to evaluate the activities and performance of different companies of Cement, Ceramics, and Tannery industries during the recent years. The sixth chapter presents some recommendations which may help to improve the performance of the organization and conclusions which are drawn by analyzing the whole report. Both primary & secondary sources of data have been used to complete this report.
