Working environment of Jaago Foundation and its impact on the mental state of employees
Abstract
Work environment is the composition of the surrounding elements employees have in the place where they operate. These elements can be tangible like; computers or intangible like; flexibility. The working procedure also includes work environment.
On the other hand, Employee Job Satisfaction is the emotion of an individual employee where he feels satisfied by the work he is doing in exchange of certain amount of monetary and other benefits. When an employee feels belongingness with an organization, he feels high level of satisfaction. Level of job satisfaction regulates employee’s mental satisfaction as well.
And working environment directly augments employees’ job satisfaction thus mental satisfaction. An employee spends most of his time in his/her working environment, so it is very important for an employer to ensure a good working environment to get good consequences from the employees. Because a satisfied employee with a good mental statement is like a strength for an organization. An employee with a sound mind will work rationally to ensure profit. Also, such employee helps to decline retention rate of the organization. He/she also works hard to maintain quality of the outcomes of the organization. Any unpleasant element of organization can hamper its overall production.
