dc.description.abstractThe key purpose of the report has been to generate a practical understanding of the human resource practices of City Bank LTD. Human Resource department is the core part of each and every company to get competitive manpower and advantage from the competitors. There are many functions are followed globally to manage their employees. This report is about a little brief about Human Resource management functions are followed by CBL and how their functional process improves their efficiency in the market and what is the procedure followed to recruit the right talent. This report has been divided into five different chapters which I have learned. Chapter one is based on the introduction which includes topics like introduction which include the importance of banking in Bangladesh, banking industry of Bangladesh, the origin of the report, statement of the problem, objectives of the report, the scope of the report, methodology and limitation of the study also literature review. Chapter two states a brief background of the banking industry all bout City Bank limited. It also includes the overall banking activities, and operational processes such as the background of the company, mission, vision with core values and objectives, swot analysis and departments and the product and service description also portrait in this chapter two. Chapter three is all about the human resources practices of City Bank Limited. This chapter includes a full description of overall human resource management and its objectives. In this chapter, I tried to focus on overall HRM practices of the City bank limited and HR departmental activities. Chapter four portraits the analysis of the questionnaire and interpretation of each result which I have surveyed on the employees of CBL. This chapter also includes the positive and negative sides of major findings and recommendations. Finally, chapter five signifies summaries the study by giving a conclusion.en_US
