| dc.description.abstract | The report provides a detailed examination of my internship at DOT5 PVT LTD. The company stands as a top architectural and interior designing business in Bangladesh. My internship was in the Supply Chain and Procurement department which involved daily work with a multidisciplinary team consisting of procurement officers and sourcing assistants and material coordinators. This report showcases my hands-on education and experience of actual procurement methods as well as vendor management practices alongside supply chain management at a dynamically operating design-centric company.
During my internship I actively worked on purchase orders (POs), comparative statements (CS) , work orders (WOs), vendor communication, billing documentation, sample library maintenance ,and price database updating. The training instructor provided me with practical experience using Tally Prime to input actual procurement data and Inventory information. This report studies how DOT5 operates yet it also addresses typical SCM issues which involve price volatility along with suppliers delays for deliveries and according to documentation schedules and incorrect inventory levels.
Measurable aspects of the internship together with essential knowledge points exist within this report which demonstrates my positive surprise about gaining independent work opportunities alongside sample review session attendance and opportunities to suggest actual implementation ideas. This experience solidified my professional goals toward procurement and supply chain management specifically in project-oriented environment of architecture and design. I have established both technical capabilities and professional characteristics through this internship which will support my career development going forward. | en_US |
