| dc.description.abstract | In this internship report I have tried to show the “Recruitment and selection process” of Anwar group of industries. I was under their BMD Division’s recruitment and selection process. This is one of the oldest company and most diversified business group. AGI has more than 37 individual units with around 10,000 employees. AGI depends heavily on its human resource department to find out efficient, skilled and motivated stuff for both factory and corporate operations. This report shows that AGI focus on hiring experienced, hardworking and qualified candidates. Their recruitment process started with the need of employee or for any vacancy and then HR department do the rest from job posting, candidates selecting to meeting the department head after hiring. Though AGI have an effective structure of recruitment and selection process they still manual and depends on traditional hiring practice. Which make the process little slow and time consuming.
During the internship period as an intern I have completely contribute in this Recruitment and selection process. From CV screening to coordinating the interview, onboarding support. I have actively worked on this. This hand on experiences has given me the practical skills and practical view of corporate world.
Overall the internship gave me experiences and knowledge of strategic hiring in ensuring organizational progress and insightful information about actual HR operation. | en_US |
