This report aims to offer insights into the practical application of supplier selection processes, drawing on both academic learning and real-world experience gained during the internship.
Throughout the internship, key concepts and theories related to sourcing, supplier selection, and procurement practices were applied to understand the process more comprehensively. The report highlights the steps involved in sourcing inquiries, evaluating suppliers, and selecting the most appropriate suppliers for the company’s needs. This practical exposure allowed for a deeper understanding of the dynamics within the supply chain and the importance of making informed decisions in supplier management. The supplier selection process is a multi-step procedure that involves identifying potential suppliers, sending out inquiries for quotes or proposals, evaluating the responses, and negotiating terms and conditions.
