dc.description.abstract | This report presents a comprehensive analysis of the supply chain management practices at Hemas Consumer Brands Pvt. Ltd. in Bangladesh, undertaken as part of my Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. It captures key findings, responsibilities, and experiences during my internship, providing insights into the company's operations, challenges, and strategic positioning within the fast-moving consumer goods FMCG in Bangladesh. The report also discusses quality control tools, document control, education and training programs, and the importance of a supplier feedback loop for ongoing improvement. Procurement processes are analyzed, focusing on demand planning, supplier selection, contracting, order placement, and monitoring supplier performance. Inventory management and quality assurance practices are also covered, highlighting their significance in ensuring efficient operations and product quality. Risk management strategies are discussed, emphasizing the need for proactive sourcing, supplier assessment, negotiation, and constant enhancement of supplier relationships. Methodological approaches used in this report include qualitative and quantitative data collection techniques. The scope of the report is defined, along with the limitations faced during the research process.
