This report analyzes working capital management & my working experience as an intern at Walton Group, which is a well-known manufacturing company in Bangladesh. Established by S.M. Nazrul Islam in 1977, Walton Group is a retailing company with a major national and worldwide presence that specializes in consumer electronics, home appliances, mobile phones, and automobiles. This report evaluates how Walton Group manages its working capital, focusing on cash, receivables, and inventory over the past five years. I calculate all the necessary working ratios using secondary data and provide interpretations along with graphical representations for better understanding. Based on these calculations and insights, I will conclude how effectively Walton is managing its working capital. During my internship in Audit Department, I worked undercover to assess customer service, gather insights, and suggest ways to improve. My training taught me how to observe discreetly, allowing me to help enhance customer experiences effectively. Also, I received practical knowledge of company’s operational activities, financial performance, strategic decision-making.en_US
