Banking sector is an essential part of Bangladesh which is essential to run the economy smoothly in order to sustain as well. Pubali Bank Limited is one of the largest private commercial banks in Bangladesh. Aim of this report as to find out the impact of COVID – 19 had on Pubali bank Limited in the year of 2020. This has been done by comparing the results of the ratios with the previous year data (2019) before the COVID situation. The three kinds of ratios were taken. From profitability ratios (ROE, ROA, ROI, OPM) were taken and from liquidity ratios (Current ratio and cash ratio) and lastly from Solvency ratios (Debt to equity, debt to asset and interest coverage ratios) were taken for the comparison. The analysis will show was there any huge impact on any side like profit wise. Many of the information was availed from the PBL annual reports and financial statements along with some other information’s from news and articles. This report will benefit those who will research on the profit of PBL in future. They will get the information from this report which I must state that the values are reliable and authentic. This will make their research precise. Lastly, my recommendation would be to improve the structure more internally.en_US
