dc.description.abstractIn 21th century tourism is one of the fastest growing industries of the world. It has a wide variety of impacts over socio-economic condition, economic development, infrastructure development and many other things. In Bangladesh, tourism is getting popularity day by day. Tourism industry is consisting of different business sectors like accommodation, transportation, recreation and entertainment, leisure activities, food and beverage production and service as well as other support sectors. Today, tourism provides different kinds of goods and services to different types of customers. This wide area of business is creating a large number of opportunities. In this report, I have tried to identify the practices of service marketing of red green tours and travels as a tourism service provider of Bangladesh tourism industry. This report is consisting of evaluation of service marketing mix, the 7p’s of service marketing. As a travel agent red green tours and travel has developed a strategic product line to meet the demand of its potential and actual customer market after an extensive market research. Red Green Tours and Travels offers attracting price for different kinds of goods and services to different customer base with satisfying quality. It always tries to keep the price fair and provide the maximum value for money. Red Green Tours and Travels has chosen Narayanganj to set up the office to use the maximum potentiality of the stuff. On the other hand the suburb area of Dhaka is an attracting market for new start up. As maximum travel agents have a trend to stay within the city area. Location like Narayanganj that is not very much far away from the main city has a growing market for tourism. In this modern era, marketing and promotion is very much important for any kind of business. Red Green Tours & Travels has selected the buzzing online and social media for its promotional tool. Besides this personal selling with some printed media are also used. The utmost priority is given to the positive word of mouth. For a service industry physical evidence is very much crucial. It develops trust to customer’s mind and ended up to the positive buying behavior and satisfaction. Red Green Tours and Travels has nicely decorated permanent office with trained and experienced employees, signboards, markings, banner and other evidence to prove their professionalism and responsiveness to the nature. It has its own employee hierarchy with attracting designation and monetary benefits. The employees are educated, trained and experienced about their duties and responsibilities. Besides these existing and potential customers, satisfied service takers and well wishers are on its side in the business competition. For providing any kind of service Red Green maintains a strict manual to minimize miscommunication, service error, profit loss and to ensure the transparency of the operation.
