dc.description.abstract | The internship report has been organized on “Credit Risk Management of Southeast Bank Ltd.” It is based on primary data and secondary data. The information collected from different sources such as annual report, credit manual of bank etc.
This Report represents the Credit Risk Management aspects involving four private commercial banks. For this report I analyzed CRG score model to measure the credit risk. CRG model focuses on different types of risk such as financial risk, business risk, Management risk, and Security risk etc. This CRG score provide information to know which bank has their credit risk high or low. The main objective of the study is to get knowledge about Southeast bank Credit risk management and Credit risk grading system.
First I developed the credit grading score for each of the major risk component and then finally determine the total risk grading score for the bank based on five major risk components. Every bank carry a single number of risks grading score determined by the weighted average score of each of the sub category risk components and then finally developed total risk. Total risk score has been determined by the weighted average risk of each individual component. For example, for Southeast bank the credit risk grading score is 3.1804 which are the highest among the four banks considered in the study. It is lowest for AB bank with credit score of 2.9804. It indicates that Southeast bank has highest credit risk compared to the other banks operating in the same industry and that should be managed properly by the management to improve its overall performances. | en_US |
