Deposit Analysis of Mutual Trust Bank

Abstract

The objective of the report is to make the analysis of deposit schemes of Mutual Trust bank limited. There are different deposit schemes considered in the report like current deposits, savings deposits, fixed deposits, deposit products etc. Under each major category of deposit schemes I analyzed the various sub-deposit schemes, for example, MTB Millionaire, MTB kotipoti, MTB ruby, and MTB brick by brick.

From the analysis of deposit schemes I found that each major category of savings schemes has positive trend over the years. Among these, savings deposit has growth of 33 percent in recent period which was highest over the other category of deposits. Other variations of deposits also have been found increasing trend for Mutual Trust bank limited. This indicates that bank has strong base of generating its sources of funds which will have significant impact in transforming the resources into the production uses particularly in loans.
