Performance Management system of IDLC Finance Ltd.

Abstract

The leasing company IDLC Finance Limited, which started its journey on 1985 now operates as a Non-Banking Financial Institution (NBFI) in the financial sector of Bangladesh. While transitioning from only a leasing company to an NBFI, the leadership noted that IDLC had become a brand and that the owners would profit if they continued to construct on the brand. IDLC Finance Ltd. was born instead of Industrial Development and Leasing Company and has constructed powerful foundations in providing various economic products and services to their clients over the course of time. The range of products and services of IDLC varies by the Corporate, SME, Retail/ Consumer, and Capital Market financing. Although IDLC Finance has shown remarkable success in transitioning whether it be from a leasing company to an NBFI or from a newly formed company with majority of foreign share to a renowned Financial Institution of the country, the organization is still reorganizing and restructuring and has a long way to go to achieve smooth world class operations and departmental activities.
