| dc.description.abstract | The report is about the general banking activities of Dutch-Bangla Bank Ltd. DBBL started its operation as Bangladesh´s first joint venture Bank. M Sahabuddin Ahmed as the founder chairman of the Bank and DBBL foundation. The focus of the Bank has been financing high-growth manufacturing industries in Bangladesh. DBBL is a commercial Bank. DBBL do all of the general banking activities like; account opening, fund transfer, remittance, clearing, pay-order, card division, Internet banking and agent banking etc. DBBL is the pioneer of the plastic money. DBBL provides debit card, master card, visa card and credit card as a loan. DBBL focus is on CSR. DBBL is the pioneer of this section. DBBL has become one of the largest donors in Bangladesh. DBBL has won numerous international awards because of its unique approach as a socially conscious bank. DBBL is the first bank in Bangladesh to be fully automated. The Electric-Banking division was established in 2002 to bring modern banking service in Bangladesh. | en_US |
