Supply Chain management of Consumer Knitex Ltd

Abstract

Compagnie Mauricienne de Textile Ltee (CMT) is one of the leading knitting manufacturing garments industry in Bangladesh. Consumer knitex is the sister concern of CMT. CMT headquartered situated in Mauritius. In Bangladesh they operating their business since 2010.In shreepur and Trisal have their two factories. In nowadays supply chain management in one of the key function of an organization. For a garments industry it is also a important function. In consumer knitex supply chain department is working under purchase department. The three important sector of supply chain management is production, information. And finance flow. No one can be run without other. Production capacity and delivery is one of the factor that need to monitor in the supply chain management. In consumer knitex I worked as an intern in commercial department, I also work in purchase and supply chain department. I know lot of things as per work all the departments. For a RMG industry supply chain management will be the key factor for its day to day activity.
