Working capital Management in Pharmaceutical Industry Bangladesh.

Abstract

This report reflects the Working Capital Management in Pharmaceutical Industry in Bangladesh. I selected five market leaders from pharmaceutical industry and used four years’ data for analyzing. The secondary data have been acquired from the annual Reports of ACI, ACME, BPL, Beacon and SPL of the years 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020. I tried to provide a small introduction about working capital management and why it is important to manage a company’s current assets and liabilities efficiently, a small company overview and research methodology for the starters. After that I analyzed data and calculated the operating and cash cycle of the organization. In addition, I tried to explain the concept of working capital and interpret necessary calculation. Furthermore, I calculated necessary ratio to reflect the working capital management efficiency of each and every organization for a specific period of time. In the end, I concluded the report by providing small conclusion.
