Internship Report on Inventory Management at Tiger New Energy Ltd

Abstract

This internship report provides a detailed analysis of the inventory management practices of the company Tiger New Energy Ltd, which is a fast-growing company in renewable energy sector in Bangladesh engaged in manufacturing of batteries and providing Electric Vehicle (EV) battery-swapping services. The study is carried out through a 3-month internship experience in the Supply Chain Management (SCM) department with emphasis on inventory control, warehouse management and integration of the system with ERP. Founded in 2021, Tiger New Energy Ltd. is emerging as a leader in sustainable and clean mobility solutions. The company has to deal with a dynamic and rapidly evolving industry, and run efficient supply chain systems in raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP) & finished goods. The report incorporates both theory and practice as observed during the internship.One of the major strengths that the company offers is its mixed-control inventory management that integrates manual controls with automated management via the Odoo ERP system. This integration improves accurate and traceable SC management and decision-making throughout activities.
