Internship Report on Analyzing the Supply Chain Process of Savlon Antiseptic Soap: From Raw Material Procurement to Final Consumer

Abstract

In the contemporary global marketplace, proficient supply chain management is regarded as a substantial competitive advantage for enterprises. The organization that implements comprehensive supply chain planning enhances efficiencies. Supply chain managers strategize, coordinate, and regulate the movement of commodities to enhance the company's competitiveness and manage expenses. They establish connections among suppliers, enterprises, and customers. ACI, a prominent domestic organization in Bangladesh, has been enhancing the economy by offering quality consumer products at relatively inexpensive prices. The investigation into ACI's winning factor would reveal its exceptional supply chain process. The research aims to elucidate how ACI's supply chain actions enhance the company's efficiency and competitiveness in the market. This study elucidates the supply chain of ACI via the lens of this notion.

Supply chain management is increasingly acknowledged as the administration of essential business processes inside the supply chain. Enhanced supply chain management can reduce overall system costs, inventory levels, and cycle durations while markedly improving stock availability and inventory turnover rates. Resolving these challenges will yield more profitability, enhanced customer service, and a competitive advantage for the organization. During my internship at ACI Limited, I acquired practical experience in market research, product development, and campaign management, which offered significant insights into the company's supply chain processes. These experiences underscored the significance of data-driven decision-making and interdisciplinary collaboration in enhancing supply chain processes, especially for items such as Savlon Antiseptic Soap.
