    Abstract
In this report, I have summarized the general banking activities of Dhaka Bank Ltd at the Gulshan Branch, where I interned. The internship experience that I did at the Bank as my final year project course at United International University has enhanced my understanding of customer care, operations, and compliance and provided me with operational exposure to the banking sector. The banking sector of Bangladesh is becoming competitive in the day-to-day scenario. The competitive environment has provided several problems for the existing banks; within the competitive environment, the existing banks have experienced several challenges. Dhaka Bank Ltd is established in 1995 to deliver the premier innovative financial services. The customer is satisfied and is aware of the regulations. Through its operational structure, Dhaka Bank Limited is a private-sector commercial bank, and its foreign trade is managed and supervised by the Central Processing Centre, a unit of the Head Office of the bank. The following are the instruments of trade operation with the clients: Advising and opening LCs, issuing various certificates – NOC, Shipping certificate/guaranty, and so on, making as well as receiving payments and documents on behalf of the client and the bank principally handles local export as well as import business. The bank's operation most often refers to all actions of the bank, as we have seen in passing all the kinds of banks and all types of deposits such as Interest on bank deposits, current accounts, deposit rates Fifty percent Deposit Rate (FDR), personal savings accounts Post Office Savings Scheme (PSS), etc. Finally, the Dhaka bank is being aggressive with all its customers or stakeholders and lending a helping hand to the national economy as it deems that networks or rapport are the keys to success by providing trade operations tools. Managing client expectations and responding to complicated inquiries were among the obstacles. These experiences put me in a personal growth perspective, enabling me to increase my ability to operate effectively in a diverse, fast-moving environment. Finally, I got a lot of experience from the Gulshan Branch of Dhaka Bank Limited, and I feel more confident to practice Banking field. Future intern agencies are allowed to support and enhance the notions of the bank’s customer service and internship program.
