Analysis of the Banking Industry of Bangladesh & AB Bank Limited An Internship Experience Perspective

Abstract

This report is on Analysis of the Bangladesh Banking Industry and Analysis of the AB Bank Limited. This report is prepared for the requirement of my BBA program and supervised by Dr. Md Mohan Uddin, Professor, United International University. The general objective of this report is to give an overview of the banking industry of Bangladesh particularly the AB Bank Limited and the internship experience. There are also some specific objectives which are to present the scenario of the banking industry of Bangladesh and the AB Bank Limited and the internship experience of the author with some recommendations for those three particular topics. There are five chapters in this report. In three months given internship period why I choose the banking sector, the influence of bank in financial and economic growth, the significance of this report not only to refer others but also the proof of my knowledge and skills growth and my limitations are described in chapter one. In chapter two I described the type, size, maturity level, new trends, flexible laws, use of technology, the rivals and the opportunity of banking industries in Bangladesh. In chapter three I described all the analysis of my chosen bank. My opportunity and experience to work in all the departments is written in chapter four. As a small experience gainer my recommendations are written in last chapter. The current state of the banking sector in Bangladesh and the performance of AB Bank Limited are the report's main conclusions. Bangladesh's banking sector is expanding daily, but what are the obstacles they are currently facing and what is being said about it internationally? A specific bank's function is another finding based on the author's observation and experience.
