INTERNSHIP REPORT ON “Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) and Categorization of Data: Enhancing Awareness”
Abstract
This report presents an overview of the research conducted during my tenure as an Analyst at Amco Enterprise Ltd., focusing on Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) and Data Categorization: Enhancing Awareness within the context of Management Information Systems (MIS). My interest in the IT sector motivated me to select MIS as the subject of investigation. The report commences with an introduction to the problem and the organization for which I am currently employed. Subsequently, a concise explanation of how Amco Enterprise Ltd. has implemented ISMS awareness and Data Classification procedures to safeguard both its own and its clients' data is provided. In the latter part of the report, the study's effectiveness and efficiency are examined. It should be noted that this report does not encompass all pertinent information, as my organization is committed to preserving the confidentiality of sensitive data. Nevertheless, as a full-time employee, I have endeavored to gather and incorporate as much relevant material as possible into my research.
