dc.description.abstract‘The groundwork of all happiness is good health’ – Leigh Hunt. Good health would require better expenses on it, but how about at least some expenses on health impacting economic growth in a developing country like Bangladesh. This paper tries to analyze the relation (correlation) between healthcare expense and GDP per capita, worth the expense or futile. Findings from Ordinary Least Square (OLS) regression suggest healthcare expenditure does raise the economic growth, controlling for other variables such as maternal mortality rate, trade GDP ratio, population & etc. The understanding also suggests that GDP per capita has a positive correlation with the healthcare expenditure. Despite being a chance of unstable or fluid impact due to a smaller observation.en_US
