dc.description.abstractFor social and economic development education is equally important for both man and women. However, in Bangladesh, a significant gap still exists between male and female education attainment. The purpose of this research is to identify the barriers and obstacles that female faces in attaining higher education in Bangladesh and also evaluate whether some of these barrier have mitigated over time. This paper used both quantitative and qualitative analysis. Survey method has been used for qualitative analysis. For quantitative analysis data has been collected for year 1990-2016 and from the evidence of time series analysis it has been found that female labor force & male education creates barrier to female education. Poverty & child marriage are not affecting much in long run situation as government has taken many steps to stop child marriage and government also provides many facilities for poor students to continue their studyen_US
