Internship Report on 'Receivable Management at VIVO Bangladesh"

Abstract

This internship report has been prepared as a partial fulfilment of the requirements of Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Information Systems (BBAAIS) degree at United International University. The report is based on the experience gained at Vivo Bangladesh during the probationary period as an Executive of Finance and Accounts Department. More specifically in the Receivable Management Team where I had the excellent opportunity to closely work in the customer receivables management of the business in a multi-cultural fast-paced corporate environment. The report begins with the Overview and history of Vivo Bangladesh and follows with the market trend and growth with their diverse customer mix and specified product mix. This report also reflects an overview of how Vivo Bangladesh operates with their decentralized divisions and manages to control centrally through centralized ERP systems. Diving deep into the functions, this report shows my roles and responsibilities within the Receivable Team and significance of the duties performed during the probationary period.
