Abstract
The current internship report discusses the effect of AI integrated HRIS on the HR processes and organizational performance at Daraz Bangladesh. This report is done for the BBA program of United International University and combines primary data research and intern experience in HR Operations.
The primary data was gathered via a 15-person structured survey that consisted of 25 questions measured with Likert-scale. HRIS implementation, core HR processes, process efficiency and organizational performance were discussed, analyzed with descriptive statistics.
Results indicate the generally positive impact of AI integrated HRIS on HR processes. HR Process Efficiency was the highest rated (mean = 3.83) followed by Attendance and Leave Management (4.33). Reduced need for manual HR documentation and process efficiency itself received the mean of 4.13. In terms of the satisfaction, 66.7% of participants were either satisfied or very satisfied, 86.7% have witnessed a positive change in HR processes.
The limitations revealed during the study include the lack of identification of the needs for training and development, which had the lowest mean (2.93). The recommendations include the improvement of HRIS analytics, structured training of HR staff, updating of HRIS, proper communication of advantages of the software and introduction of the formal user feedback system.
During the internship, I obtained practical skills in working with HR processes, recruitment process, manpower planning, attendance/leave management and digital documentation. Thus, AI-integrated HRIS has a positive effect on the efficiency of HR processes and organizational performance at Daraz Bangladesh.
