Shahriar Ahmed Chowdhury wins the Asian PhotoVoltaic Industry Association Award 2019 - United International University

Abstract

Shahriar Ahmed Chowdhury, Director, Centre for Energy Research of United International University wins the Asian PhotoVoltaic Industry Association (APVIA) Award- 2019 for his academic contribution and innovative research to the Solar Energy industry. The award ceremony was held on the eve of 13th SNEC Conference and Exhibition (the largest Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition on earth) at Shanghai, China on June 03, 2019. Mr. Chowdhury has received a certificate and crest on the occasion.

It is mentionable that previously Mr. Chowdhury has received Momentum for Change award from the United Nations, Interwsolar (Europe) Award in Munich, Germany and Education Leadership award from World Education Congress for his research innovation, educational contributions and works in the field of Renewable Energy.

Shahriar Ahmed Chowdhury has been working relentlessly to develop both the educational and commercial aspects of solar photovoltaic utilization of Bangladesh over the last decade.
