Reviewing job performance through job satisfaction: An empirical exploration in banking services.
Abstract
The study intends to discover the influence of job satisfaction on job performance in the circumstance of banking services at Janota Bank, Bangladesh. To attain this objective, the study incorporated 150 samples from Janota Bank through the systematic random sampling and respondents were the current employees of Janota Bank who are occupying various executive positions in the bank. To test the hypothesis, regression analysis has been conducted. Apart from this, t-test, ANOVA, and correlations were duly performed. This study accurately reveals that job satisfaction is influencing job performance significantly. This study once again reconfirm that job satisfaction has a great effect on job performance in the context of banking services thus existing literature will enrich to realize that job satisfaction is such an aspect not to ignore rather to ensure job satisfaction continuously without discriminating male and female employees. Finally, the practitioners would be benefited if they take it seriously job satisfaction as a main element to improve their organizational performance. Job satisfaction creates motivational force in the minds of employees which propels forward to move and survive in the noisy competitive market.
