Internship Report on "General Banking Activities Of Rupali Bank PLC"
Abstract
This internship report has been prepared as a partial requirement for the completion of the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program under the Department of Accounting, United International University . The report is based on my three-month internship program at Rupali Bank PLC, one of the leading state-owned commercial banks in Bangladesh.
The main objective of the internship was to gain practical experience and understand the overall banking operations, policies, and customer service practices of Rupali Bank PLC. During the internship period, I was assigned to the Urdu road branch, where I had the opportunity to work in various departments such as general banking, accounts, and loan & advance sections.
Throughout the internship, I observed how different banking functions are integrated to provide smooth financial services to customers. The report discusses the organizational background of Rupali Bank PLC, its structure, products and services, and operational procedures. It also highlights my specific duties and responsibilities, the skills I applied, and the new knowledge I acquired during the training.
The report further includes a brief analysis of the bank’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT), along with some recommendations to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Overall, this internship has enhanced my understanding of the practical aspects of banking and bridged the gap between theoretical learning and real-life business practices.
