Assigning HRIS System In IKOPU Company Limited
Abstract
The report is opened by a short introduction in which the background, aim, and objectives, justification, scope, and limitations of this study are outlined. After which, the company analysis section summarizes IKOPU’s background, history, operation, and products/services offered, and its desired direction to be pursued in growth within the local signage industry. We added the analysis of the industry to explain the present scenario, size, opportunities, and threats in the signage industry in Bangladesh.
The portion "internship experience" details my job, the role I played, the work assigned to me, and the training I undertook at the HR & Admin Department. Specifically, my involvement in HRIS work - employee database management support, time/attendance tracking, recruitment aid, and payroll is covered. Among the possible implications that can be derived from the findings are full phased implementation of HRIS, strategies for employee self-service portals, enhanced data security, and use of HR analytics for comprehensive decision-making. In conclusion, the experience of my intern has provided me an extensive knowledge of HRIS management and its value in today’s business. I needed to put into practice what I had learnt, and this inspired me even more to seek a career in HR.
