dc.description.abstractThe report provides a comprehensive analysis of IDLC Finance PLC, one of the prominent nonbank financial institutions in Bangladesh, within the context of the country's financial sector. It starts by outlining the significance of NBFIs in Bangladesh's financial system and delves into the regulations governing these institutions. Then, transitions into a detailed examination of IDLC Finance PLC, covering its history, philosophy, subsidiaries, product offerings, and achievements. Following this, the report conducts a thorough financial analysis using key performance indicators such as profitability ratios, current ratios, and debt-to-equity ratios over five years. Furthermore, it presents a SWOT analysis highlighting the company's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Additionally, the report employs Porter's Five Forces model to assess the competitive landscape surrounding IDLC, analyzing factors such as the threat of new entrants, bargaining power of suppliers and buyers, threat of substitutes, and intensity of rivalry among competitors. Throughout, the report provides valuable insights into IDLC's operations, performance, and strategic positioning within the financial industry of Bangladesh. Finally, it contains a few limitations which are the problems that I have faced during the report.en_US
