    Abstract
Discussion of City Bank Limited's (CBL) procurement management process is the main focus throughout the report. It covers many methods, terminologies, and principles used by this specific bank. The report is structured in a precise way. Initiating the Report consists of the motive and objective for writing this report, further discussing the methodologies used and the limitations faced. Next, an overview of the banking industry was given, examining its history over the centuries, particularly in Bangladesh. Then there was some extensive discussion of CBL itself. Its history, mission, vision, and structure are elaborated. Furthermore, some other important sides of the bank include the subsidiaries of the bank, the products and services, a SWOT analysis, etc., to give a precise idea of City Bank Limited. The next section demonstrates my responsibilities as an employee of CBL. Then the report covers a basic overview of procurement management, evaluating its importance and benefits as the internship was in the procurement division. Most importantly, the main and core part of the report consists of the procedures and principles to operate the procurement activities followed by the bank, along with the essential definitions required to be understood in the process. However, this part mainly talks about the procurement process of CBL in a step-by-step manner.
